MeetingKing is an integrated and intuitive web-based application to help meeting organizers keep notes, create agendas, and assign tasks and follow-up on previous assignments. ?Our research indicates that the core issues associated with ineffective meetings are poor preparation and limited follow-up,? says founder Edwin Siebesma.  ?MeetingKing eliminates the need for time-consuming methods of coordinating a meeting by setting an agenda via multiple emails, taking minutes in a word document, and managing action items in separate task management tools.?

 
MeetingKing is unique because it is built around the natural workflow of meetings and conversations and turns short notes into up-to-date actionable information.

 
Following a meeting, MeetingKing compiles the meeting minutes and emails them to attendees.  Tasks can be assigned directly while taking notes and the dashboard and email reminders keep everyone on track.  MeetingKing maintains the continuity of a sequence of meetings by adding all action items from prior meetings to the agenda of the next meeting.  By adding tags to topics, users can find anything related to a certain project or department.

Edwin is the former CEO of WinZip Computing as well as VP of sales of the largest electronics and appliances retail chain in The Netherlands and VP of commercial affairs of a large retail chain in Peru. In all these capacities he attended and chaired many meetings and was frustrated by the lack of an integrated tool that followed the entire workflow around meetings from preparing the agenda, writing the minutes to manage tasks. There are many task management tools and note-taking solutions, but nothing covered all stages of a meeting. After leaving WinZip Edwin started Meeting king to help people have more effective meetings.
